Indie Christian Music Lives in Allasso..
A California band called Allasso seems to have it all together and are excited about their newest CD release. Not only active musicians, but community members, Allasso seems to be spreading the right word, with the right message. Check out a great article on this release here.

Should the Christian music genre exist?
We've all been into record stores (brick and mortar, or more likely iTunes-like) and found the genre "Christian" included in with the music. Up until now I've not thought much of it; it seemed like a legitimate way to classify this style of music. The author in this included link thinks otherwise, and brings up some very good points. Does labeling music Christian harm either the faith or the music in any way?
Take a read, give it some thought, then let us know what you think.

CFA moves to unite independent festivals
Check out this article about how the Christian Festival Association (CFA) is helping the independent festival organizers get together and reach further out into the industry.
With 26 festivals being members of the CFA, there’s a great chance to discover some new music. Maybe some of Cyama’s artists will be on one of these tours soon!
